This series of workshops was planned by Saitama University’s STEM education center.
Prof. Tairo Nomura proposed the idea. He provided the ESP-32 based microcontroller for education purpose with multiple sensors and motor driver integrated. He also extended Ardublock to draw shapes on an OLED screen.
I was hired to design and deliver the workshops.
This course started from September 2020 - after the COVID-19 lockdown. To eliminate the risk of infection among participants, this course implemented an online & offline blended style: one in three workshops was held in-person.
This was held in 2 different time slots every Saturday, with 6 participants in each time slot.
Through this course, I practiced making slides with clear instructions and explanations so participants can learn and proceed at their own pace, allowing me to help those encountering issues.
